The Cattlewomen’s College (CWC) is a joint collaboration coordinated by Colorado State University Extension. The goal of this one day program is to offer women, open to all, tools to better understand the beef industry. Our first CWC is an in-person, with virtual option, one day workshop with sessions on meat selection identification for your home, Meat Science Boot Camp, effectively sharing your agriculture story on social media, rangeland health and outlook, Beef Quality Assurance Certification, and financial resources and tools to help your operation.
All of these sessions are being taught by industry or educational professionals from CSU Extension, Nebraska Extension, Lamar Community College, and Otero Junior College.
Registration is $10 per person and that covers the cost of the lunch being served.
The value and shared expertise in this set-up will foster partnerships and community engagement. Our hope is to continue to develop CWC events to include production tours.
We appreciate your consideration and support of this program.
