Topics will include:

  • Planning: site, planting plan, plant family, map, common crop
  • Getting started with healthy soil: Building healthy soil, container soil, composting, fertilizing,
  • Planning your garden: Container selection, direct seeding, transplanting
  • Caring for your growing garden: Watering, protecting plants, vertical gardening, soil health, forest gardening,
  • Caring for your growing garden part 2: Weeding, Pest Management, Pest identifiying
  • Harvesting and using your bounty: Health, Harvest, Storage, nutrition, cooking from your garden
